Sorah Al-Infitar ( The Cleaving ) - Verses Number 19

إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انفَطَرَتْ ( 1 )

When the Sky is cleft asunder;

وَإِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انتَثَرَتْ ( 2 )

When the Stars are scattered;

وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ ( 3 )

When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth;

وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ( 4 )

And when the Graves are turned upside down;-

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ ( 5 )

(Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back.

يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ ( 6 )

O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?-

الَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّاكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ( 7 )

Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias;

فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَكَ ( 8 )

In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together.

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِالدِّينِ ( 9 )

Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment!

وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَافِظِينَ ( 10 )

But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,-

كِرَامًا كَاتِبِينَ ( 11 )

Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds):

يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ ( 12 )

They know (and understand) all that ye do.

إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمٍ ( 13 )

As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss;

وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمٍ ( 14 )

And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire,

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّينِ ( 15 )

Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment,

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَائِبِينَ ( 16 )

And they will not be able to keep away therefrom.

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ( 17 )

And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is?

ثُمَّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ ( 18 )

Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is?

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا ۖ وَالْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّهِ ( 19 )

(It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah.

The basic meaning of Khushu', is the softness of the heart, its being gentle, still, submissive, broken, and yearning. Rules Governing The Criticism Of HadithAn summarised text detailing the rules governing the Criticism of Hadeeth. From its introduction -'A hadith (pl. ahadith) is composed of two parts: the matn (text) and the isnad (chain of reporters). A text may seem to be logical and reasonable but it needs an authentic isnad with reliable reporters to be acceptable; 'Abdullah b. al-Mubarak (d. 181 AH) is reported to have said, "The isnad is part of the religion: had it not been for the isnad, whoever wished to would have said whatever he liked." During the lifetime of the Prophet (SAS) and after his death, his Companions (Sahabah) used to refer to him when quoting his sayings. The Successors (Tabi'un) followed suit; some of them used to quote the Prophet (SAS) through the Companions while others would omit the intermediate authority - such a hadith was known as mursal (loose). It was found that the missing link between the Successor and the Prophet (SAS) might be one person, i.e. a Companion, or two persons, the extra person being an older Successor who heard the hadith from the Companion.'
