Sorah An-Nas ( Mankind ) - Verses Number 6

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ( 1 )

Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,

مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ( 2 )

The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,

إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ ( 3 )

The god (or judge) of Mankind,-

مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ( 4 )

From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-

الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ( 5 )

(The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-

مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ( 6 )

Among Jinns and among men.

The Rights of ParentsIslam recognizes family as a basic social unit. Along with the husband-wife relationship the Parent-child relationship is the most important one. To maintain any social relationship both parties must have some clear-cut Rights as well as obligations. The relationships are reciprocal. Duties of one side are the Rights of the other side.
