Sorah Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Verses Number 7

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ( 1 )

Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Ayaa 1

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?

فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ( 2 )

Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Ayaa 2

For that is the one who drives away the orphan

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ( 3 )

Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Ayaa 3

And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ( 4 )

Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Ayaa 4

So woe to those who pray

الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ( 5 )

Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Ayaa 5

[But] who are heedless of their prayer -

الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ ( 6 )

Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Ayaa 6

Those who make show [of their deeds]

وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ ( 7 )

Al-Ma'un ( Small Kindnesses ) - Ayaa 7

And withhold [simple] assistance.
